Just one of those days…
Plants vibrant and fresh in the window, shining
green,
The rain pouring down and washing the world clean,
Jotting what’s in my heart and head on paper, a
moment to breathe…
Birds go about fluttering, flapping and hiding in
the eaves.
Long busy hectic and jammed days, things one after
another in a flow,
Moments shiny and rare popping up and making my
heart and soul glow.
2 am in the morning, sleep as elusive as ever,
A broken leg
aside, a kitten’s attitude says never say never!
His playful pats and paws so soft, warm and furry,
Makes me wonder, sometimes why always I’m in such a
hurry!!
Long busy hectic and jammed days, things one after
another in a flow,
Moments shiny and rare popping up and making my
heart and soul glow.
Hours and days of hard work and preparation,
All to give chemistry my own rendition,
It all seems way beyond worth it, when kids say they
miss me,
All I want to do is set their minds and imaginations
soaring free!!
Long busy hectic and jammed days, things one after
another in a flow,
Moments shiny and rare popping up and making my
heart and soul glow.
Walking down a green and leafy road, the climate is
such a treat,
Music blasting in my ears, my feet in time to the
beat,
Wanting to smile at every chance,
The rhythm and movement making me want to dance!
Long busy hectic and jammed days, things one after
another in a flow,
Moments shiny and rare popping up and making my
heart and soul glow.
A warm and sunny afternoon, the air heavy and slow,
Eyes drowsy and sluggish, just want to let the day
flow,
A good book under my nose, such pleasure seems
almost a crime,
As the pages brush past, I feel no need to look at
the time.
Long busy hectic and jammed days, things one after
another in a flow,
Moments shiny and rare popping up and making my
heart and soul glow.
Life’s a series of moments like these and those not
so serene,
But it’s these moments that give my life a splendid
sheen,
Sometimes it just feels like it’s one of those days
when everything goes wrong,
It’s these gems shining bright that help me stay
sane and strong!
Just one of those days…
